"The Colors of Magic"

In The Shadows of Cincinnati, tucked in the Village of Old Milford, is ~pathwalker & lightworker~ Dana Haan... better known as ~Tara~ to those who share in her workshops at a charming little corner store called Enchanted Moments 133 Main St. There's so much to do in 2 hours in one of her workshops that people rarely want to leave at parting time...but she leaves them wanting more the following weeks ahead with her ongoing ~Tarot Weaving & Mapping~ in conjunction with her her weekly Shadow Work sessions just to name a couple.

Dana is the first pathwalker in the Greater Cincinnati area to impress upon the metyphysical community a newly practiced & ground breaking healing technique referred to as "Shadow Work". A deep and personal contribution and tribute to those who are in need of spiritual healing.

"Shadow Work is for the womon who wants to heal and face her issues head on" says Dana. It's a way of learning and understanding parts of our path that may have been skipped over due to loss & abandonment or even heartache due to an abusive past." she adds. Experience is everything that has led her to where she is now when it comes to sharing her healing abilities. It wasn't so long ago that her own mother, younger brother, along with her best friend all transitioned out of this world and into the next.

With much confusion and pain, she managed to birth her own way back to her path, which is to lead other's out of the dark. With her mother close by her side everyday, Dana performs readings, Shadow Work, dream interpretation and personal mentoring to those who cross her path along their way. Her ~creative coaching~ brings many womyn to come to know themselves...their trueSELVES.

The magic she shares is incredible. There's and element of connection that you just cannot find in the everyday whitenoise we call the "social norm". You only find that kind of magic when people care enough to put aside everything just to promote Higher Good. Dana does this and more with her uncanny insight and her gift to ~see~ color.

You could say Dana was very different as a small child. While she had trouble fitting in due to her flare for "telling it like it is", she also had to learn patience when she wasn't daydreaming about becoming a famous and beautiful singer while sitting in music class. Anything else of too much school structure brought about great strife if teachers weren't armed with a philosophic type of approach when working with Dana. She HAD to be creating something or talking to other children in ways of "helping".

She formed a love for wymin who've lost their need to "create" after she witnessed the deterioration of her own mother's creativity wither away that preceded the loss of her only brother....."I come from a family that keeps on going no matter what"..... "and we choose hard but have come to understand that the quality of our lives is purely based on the choices we make.".....Dana credits her older sister Debbie Davidson for this type of individual thinking.

In retrospect, she was able to land safely on her feet after her mother's passing due to the ~vision~ her sister Debbie gave to her when it came to "creating your own life" as her sister used to tell her during some of the hardest times in her life/their lives. Mrs. Davidson went back to school at Xavier University to receive her bachelors degree in Art Theory in the mid 90's and graduated in the fall of 2005. Debbie is 50 years young. "I took alot of my ques from her" says Dana with a melancholy smile....."My sister wanted more for her own ~creative self ~in terms of personal growth and so did I - she went mainstream and I went ethereal."

What is Dana's motto? "We ARE what we KNOW....." she states, "and we as wymin should never stop learning." It's this belief that leaves the world with hope in this modern day "Pandora's Box" as far as she is concerned. "My ~creative self~ blooms and flourishes with each person I help and could never have done this part of it without the love and support of shop owner Monica Vance of Enchanted Moments and co owner Robin Stapp. "Monica and Robin give me the flame that lights the magical fire of what I do"......"they give me the stable to ~birth my children in~ and so the least I can do is be there for other wymin in this regard.

Everyday is a new beginning for each of us and we owe it to ourselves to be kind to ourselves in a world full of chaos and discord. Nonetheless, Dana does it all from teaching and leading other's to handling various workshops....and then there's the Tarot Weaving & Mapping held every Friday evening from 7pm-9pm....Oh and don't forget about the "Tea & Table Wicca ongoing every 4th Sunday from 10:30am-12:30pm. But to experience the full spectrum of her talent - stop in ENCHANTED MOMENTS for a quick chat and a cup of TEA.
